- Don’t Unpick Me Please – Ebs. The whole EP is crazy, but this song is particularly haunting and beautiful. Great double meaning title as well.
- I Punched Through The Wall – Quickly Quickly. The chorus melody is so cathartic and melancholy, and it gets righteously fuzzy at the end. Super cool.
- Jet Set – Banjo Ulysses. Who makes a song like this? I don’t even know. I feel like it’s cleaning out my ears every time I listen. Really unique, really effective.
- Annabelle – 1th. This is such a beautiful love song, with a few tongue-in-cheek lyrical moments as well. To me it really explores the nuances of long term love so well.
- Potion – Djo. Cool to hear music that sounds this twee, channeling Paul McCartney a bit – which I have a real soft spot for. It just has such an earnest and cute nature to it.
