Roman Reigns wins 2026 Royal Rumble, Challenges CM Punk at WrestleMania 42

The Road to WrestleMania 42 started at the Royal Rumble in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with Liv Morgan finally winning her first Royal Rumble, after two straight years of runner-up. Liv Morgan is one of only two women who have competed in all nine women’s Rumble matches, alongside Natalya. Liv is now set to challenge for a title of her choice at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas in April.

Roman Reigns came out on top in the men’s Rumble with the Tribal Chief eliminating Gunther to win his second Royal Rumble (first since 2015).

Reigns’ announced on Monday Night Raw he will be challenging CM Punk at WrestleMania 42 for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, after years of bad blood between the two.

For the second consecutive year, WrestleMania 42 will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, across two huge nights. Australians can catch it live on Netflix starting 9am AEST on Sunday, April 19th and Monday, April 20th.
