Hello! We are Among The Restless, a 6 piece Alternative rock band from Naarm/Melbourne. ATR are a band that pushes our passion for thought-provoking songwriting in an alternative soundscape, and are just about to release our debut album ‘Seasons’.
- If you have an idea, be vocal about it and don’t be afraid of rejection.
- TRY EVERYTHING. If someone has an idea, try it!
- Have fun. Studio sessions can sometimes be a long and frustrating process. Looking back, I miss every second. Make sure you really soak up every moment of making your first major piece of art.
- Work hard. EVERYTHING is easier if you commit yourself 100% during every process of making a debut album.
- Make a release plan and stick to it. Chopping and changing plans along the way will only cause delays. Make a plan and stick to it, trust yourself.
