PAX Aus is turning things up for 2026, unveiling one of the biggest and most exciting exhibitor line-ups when it takes over the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 9–11 October 2026.
Some of the biggest publishers in the world are bringing blockbuster new releases months before they hit shelves, alongside major hardware launches, esports, creators, indie developers and interactive experiences across the show floor.

SEGA unleashes four playable titles at PAX Aus
SEGA will have four huge titles playable at the show Players will take command of the Space Marines across three gameplay scenarios in Total War: WARHAMMER 40,000, try to survive in Alien: Isolation 2, experience the unique and thrilling combat of Stranger Than Heaven and get their chance to play Persona 4 Revival, the stunning remake of the RPG classic.
Activision Brings Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 4 to Australia
Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 4 arrives at the PAX Australia show floor, giving fans in Australia an opportunity to experience a selection of the game’s highly anticipated Multiplayer ahead of its global launch on 23 October 2026 (MA 15+). Eligible visitors can jump into the action and get hands-on with this year’s blockbuster game.
Square Enix Brings FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Back to PAX Aus
FINAL FANTASY XIV Online returns to PAX Australia with Square Enix, bringing the world of Eorzea to life across a weekend of activities for Warriors of Light.
Fans can get hands-on with playable Nintendo Switch 2 gameplay, create their own bracelet and step into a themed photo opportunity.
The FINAL FANTASY XIV experience will extend beyond the show floor with A Realm Reburned, a special developer panel featuring Localisation Director Michael-Christopher Koji Fox and Global Community Producer Toshio ‘Foxclon’ Murouchi. The pair will reveal behind-the-scenes stories from their years working on one of the world’s biggest MMOs, all while taking on an increasingly fiery hot sauce challenge.
FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION Showcase
Square Enix will give attendees a special look at the epic conclusion to the acclaimed FINAL FANTASY VII remake project. With the fate of the planet hanging in the balance, Cloud and his companions face their final battle against Sephiroth in the biggest chapter yet, and Australian fans will be able to deep dive into what FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION has to offer before its 8 April 2027 release.
Discover New Games Before Anyone Else
PAX Aus is the place to discover what’s next, with over 90 games across the Aus Indie Showcase, PAX Rising and New Zealand’s Centre of Digital Excellence (CODE) giving fans the chance to play and discover new titles before almost anyone else. From emerging Australian developers to exciting new studios from across the Tasman, these showcases put fresh ideas, original worlds and the next generation of games directly into the hands of PAX attendees.

Mwave Puts a Whole New Spin on Build Your Own
Mwave is taking the concept of “build your own” very literally this year, bringing a sandpit and remote-controlled excavator to the PAX Aus show floor where attendees can dig for prizes.
The interactive activation taps into the huge appetite for building and customising PCs, while the Mwave stand will also feature high-profile gamers throughout the weekend and plenty of opportunities to explore the latest PC-building and gaming technology.
Aftershock Sends PAX Attendees on a Journey
Aftershock PC is going bigger at PAX Aus 2026 with new PC designs, playable games, new-release demos, creators, cosplayers, a racing simulator and show-floor exclusives. At the heart of the experience is the Aftershock Journey Book. A limited number of attendees will be able to collect a book and travel through six themed stalls, gathering stamps along the way. Complete all six and they’ll go into the draw to win one of two custom Aftershock PCs featured at PAX.
PowerA Gives Fans a First Look at 2027 Tech
PowerA returns with new controllers, headsets and gaming accessories heading into Christmas – but there’s also something much further ahead to get your hands on. Attendees will be able to experience the PowerA Meridian Flight Controller for Xbox and PC ahead of its planned 2027 release, while Australian gaming favourite Bajo will meet fans at the PowerA stand on Saturday and Sunday. PowerA will also offer 40% off via powera.com.au during PAX week.

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) will be taking over the PC action at the show as the sponsor of the PC Tournaments and Freeplay area, whilst also exhibiting alongside Bluemouth Interactive, Thermaltake, Keychron, Clever Gear, Electronic Rebellion and Turtle Beach who are bringing the latest in gaming, technology, accessories and hardware to PAX Aus.

Superloop Powers PAX Aus
Superloop will have a major presence across PAX Aus, including sponsoring the Aus Indie Showcase powered by Superloop and the Superloop Main Theatre. The Aus Indie Showcase will shine a spotlight on some of the most exciting independent games and developers from Australia and beyond, giving attendees the opportunity to discover fresh ideas, new worlds and innovative gameplay, while the Superloop Main Theatre will be a central destination for some of the weekend’s biggest guests, panels and live entertainment.
eBay Live Makes its PAX Aus Debut
For the first time ever, eBay Live is coming to PAX Aus, bringing live shopping onto the show floor with special drops, featured guests and live shows streamed throughout the weekend. Fans can grab a free Collectors Card, explore the eBay Collectors Club House, jump into the photobooth and unlock exclusive prizes from the Gacha machine, with giveaways and surprises across all three days.
The Only Australian Red Bull Wings Cup Wildcard Pathway Lands at PAX
Red Bull is bringing the Red Bull Wings Cup to PAX Australia alongside EA SPORTS FC™ 27, giving fans the only in-person opportunity to secure a place in this year’s national competition through the OMODA “Beat the Streak” Wildcard Tournament. Running across Saturday and Sunday at PAX Australia, the OMODA-presented tournament offers amateur gamers a unique pathway into the broader Red Bull Wings Cup campaign, which takes place on PlayStation Tournaments from 28 September to 25 October.
Amateur gamers will compete in seven-minute sessions of EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Rush Mode, battling to maintain the highest winning streak. Only two wildcard places are available across the entire weekend, with the Saturday and Sunday winners heading directly to the National Final in Sydney on 5 December, with flights and accommodation included, for a potential pathway towards the 2027 World Final in Miami.

Ubisoft Brings Rainbow Six Siege and Just Dance to PAX Aus
Ubisoft will bring both serious competition and serious fun to PAX Aus 2026.
The Ubisoft Community & Esports Stage will host the Rainbow Six Siege APL Oceania Stage Finals, with four of OCE’s best teams battling for a $40,000 prize pool and a coveted place at the Osaka Major. There’s plenty more happening at the Ubisoft Community & Esports stage across the weekend, including an Assassin’s Creed Sea Shanty Singalong, the Ubisoft Cosplay Runway, a Just Dance-Along, and a chance to take on Martin Copping, the voice talent behind the Australian Operator Mozzie, in a Rainbow Six Siege 1v1 match.
Then it’s time to swap esports for dance moves, with Ubisoft also putting its name behind the Just Dance Party Stage in the Convention Centre foyer, bringing music, movement and plenty of opportunities for fans to get involved throughout the weekend.

The gaming community will be represented across every corner of PAX Aus, with BlackMilk bringing its signature gaming and pop culture-inspired clothing to the show, while Secretlab will also join the 2026 line-up with their latest launches, the Secretlab Atlas and The Pokémon Collection.
Need a break from the action? PAX Aus charity partner Beyond Blue alongside The Inclusion Project will be in the AFK Room to offer a quiet space away from the expo floor, complete with sensory tools and support from allied health occupational therapists.
