Bloc Party announce headline shows

Bloc Party got their break in 2003 when lead singer Kele Okereke gave a copy of single “She’s Hearing Voices” to Franz Ferdinand’s lead singer Alex Kapranos and BBC Radio 1 DJ Steve Lamacq, who subsequently played the song on his show labelling the track as “genius”.

Their debut album Silent Alarm released in 2005 which went on to go platinum. With almost two decades and six albums worth of material, fans will be spoilt for choice with favourites in live form including “Banquet”, “Helicopter”, “This Modern Love” and “Flux”.

Heading up Perth’s Red Hill Auditorium on Friday 10 November, Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Sunday 12 November and Hobart’s Odeon Theatre on Tuesday 14 November, Bloc Party are turning it up ahead of their East Coast co-headline tour with Interpol mid-November.
