[SPEAKING VOLUMES] Melbs bb’s Top 5 Things To Do In Melbourne

Mt Dandenong Road Trip: I’m from the outer east and driving around Mt Dandy is something you never get over no matter how many times you do it. There’s lots of quirky restaurants in Belgrave, some witchy shops in Olinda but mostly it’s just the views that are worth coming for. Hope you like trees!

Eat in Box Hill: Box Hill has a large Asian population and that means one thing: really good food. I went to uni around here and I’m surprised I didn’t have to be craned out at the end. It’s also worth just wandering around here. Box Hill Central reminds me a lot of the malls I came across in HK.

Wander around CBD: I like to look at things (it’s one of my favourite pastimes) and Melbourne’s architecture is I’ll never stop loving to look at. I would start at Flinders St and walk up to Spring St. It’s worth going around East Melbourne if you have some time because there’s some very boujee buildings but just gradually make your way around the city. It’s a cool place.

Coffee Time in Richmond: I’ve wasted hours of my life both on my own and with friends walking up and down Bridge Rd trying to pick a café. There’s a lot of great ones and basically any is a safe choice. Highly recommend wandering around the small streets off Bridge Rd and looking at the cool houses too. Very grammable.

See a Gig: Considering I’m a musician, would highly recommend you go see some live music in Melbourne. There’s gigs every night of the week. It’s just a matter of looking up venues like The Workers Club, The Gasometer, The Tote, The Evelyn etc. and seeing if anything catches your eye.
