It’s been a hive of activity at Groovin the Moo (GTM) HQ these last few weeks, having recently announced the artist line up for 2017. Following the general on sale tickets being released last week, the Maitland, Bendigo and Canberra events have now sold out.
Steve Halpin of Cattleyard Promotions said;
“The response has been overwhelming and to be honest, it’s unprecedented. We sincerely want to thank everyone for their support of Groovin the Moo, including those patrons who had faith in our event and snapped up their Christmas presale tickets before we announced our line up!”
We know some of our moo crew are disappointed to have missed out. We have some options for you, including some epic road trip ideas to Wayville, Townsville or Bunbury, along with our Resale Facility. Read on for more info in the Ticketing section.
NEW MOOS AND MORE MOOS TO COME!
We’re thrilled to be adding Sydney–via–LA luminaries PNAU to the GTM 2017 line up. The long successful creative force that is Nick Littlemore, Peter Mayes and Sam Littlemore are musical powerhouses in their own right, each collaborating on multiple projects whilst wearing many hats. The trio recently returned to our airwaves with their first single in four years “Chameleon”, which was received with open arms, reaching #11 in the triple j Hottest 100. We can’t wait to have PNAU join us at GTM for the first time!
Stay tuned for more exciting announcements, including our Fresh Produce artists. We’ll also be announcing our Community Program, which has been growing year on year – this year we have some fun national initiatives to tell you about, as well as introducing our region-specific local legends, who’ll be making your GTM experience heaps of fun!
triple j Unearthed – CLOSING SOON!
Like last year and plenty of years before that, triple j are on the lookout for one artist from each area that GTM stops in to add to the 2017 line up. Past winners include legends like SAFIA, Coda Conduct and Timberwolf and we’re excited to find even more gems in 2017. The competition is open now and all you need to do is have your best tunes up on the triple j Unearthed website by midnight on Sunday 26 February. For more info, head here!
