BIGSOUND REVEALS FINAL LIST OF LIVE SHOWCASING ARTISTS

INCLUDING: MOJO JUJU, JAPANESE WALLPAPER, THESE NEW SOUTH WHALES, ADRIAN EAGLE, IMBI THE GIRL, CRY CLUB, REDHOOK, CREED THA KID + MORE!

AND ANNOUNCES OFFICIAL SHOWCASE VENUES

Australia’s biggest new music event BIGSOUND has today unveiled its second and final list of tomorrow’s superstars with Mojo Juju, These New South Whales, Adrian Eagle, imbi the girl, Cry Club, + more leading a second and final live announcement of 68 performing artists rounding out a total of 147 of Australia’s best new talent making their way to Brisbane for what will become a massive four nights of live music across 18 stages in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley Live Music Precinct this September 3-6.

Produced by QMusic, BIGSOUND brings together over 200 of the top talent scouts from across the world, music fans from across Australia and the hottest artists from across the region in a unique musical speed-dating extravaganza. It’s four big nights of a choose-your-own-adventure live music discovery, where no two schedules are the same!

BIGSOUND will again help launch international careers, like previous alumni Flume, Courtney Barnett, RUFUS, Tash Sultana, The Jezabels, Middle Kids, Gang of Youths, DMAs, The Temper Trap, DZ Deathrays and so many more with the $100,000 Levi’s Music Prize back to help make success a reality for this year’s cohort. Providing $25,000 each to four showcasing artists, plus $5,000 to each winning artist from Stage & Screen to get them on their way in 2020, the program has already helped 2018 acts Emerson Snowe, Hatchie, The Teskey Brothers, and Amyl and The Sniffers  get overseas to fly the flag for Australian music.

BIGSOUND also unveils the final list of 18 official venues that will host this impressive cross section of emerging musical talent, forming a map of Fortitude Valley’s best live music venues to zig zag to and from in the search for your new favourite acts. From the intimate rooms at Black Bear Lodge and Heya Bar, to the main stages at The Zoo, The Brightside, and Crowbar, or the world class outdoor stages at The Valley Drive In, The Elephant Hotel,  and Ric’s Big Backyard, as well as welcoming X-Cargo Social Hub and newly opened venue The Outpost, no two venues are the same and no two showcases will compare. The Valley really is your oyster!
